Tonya Swain founded This Is 4 My Girlz, Inc. in 2015, driven by her deep commitment to give back to the community that shaped her into the leader she is today. The organization's mission was inspired by three key influences: her complex journey from childhood to successful multi-business owner, impactful connections with female peers along the way, and her dedication to being an exemplary mother to her daughter Genesis. In fact, the organization's distinctive logo features an amplified 'G' not only as homage to its Gen-Z members but also in adoration to Genesis, who inspired the namesake scholarship program. Throughout Tonya's leadership of This Is 4 My Girlz, her heart posture of unwavering passion and compassion has guided the organization, creating positive change through community initiatives like charm school workshops and college tours, while fostering personal safety awareness to empower young ladies. Tonya comes with a professional background of over 15 years in graphic design, photography, fashion retail, insurance sales, small business consulting, real estate investing, and youth nonprofit leadership.

Chandra Johnson serves as our Program Coordinator (and Board Treasurer), bringing her expertise in accounting and deep commitment to youth development to her leadership role. With a background that spans both financial management and youth ministry, she approaches her work with a mission to empower young ladies and nurture the next generation. Through initiatives like charm school workshops and college tours, Chandra integrates purpose and precision into her leadership. Her mission centers on empowering young women to reach their full potential. She embraces an authentic approach to mentorship, drawing from her professional background in accounting and her extensive work with church youth programs. Her personal motto, inspired by Matthew 5:14-16, reflects her dedication to being a positive influence and emphasizes the importance of leading by example in all aspects of life. In her role as Program Coordinator, Chandra embodies a hands-on leadership style, readily stepping in wherever support is needed, especially in community initiatives and personal safety awareness. Her dedication to operational excellence is matched by her commitment to fostering personal and professional growth in young women, making her a valued leader and mentor within the organization.

Genesis' story is a beautiful example of coming full circle - from participating as a founding member to blossoming into a passionate leader (and board member) within the organization. As social media director, Genesis exercises her creativity and digital savvy to empower young ladies and inspire more young women in the community. Her commitment to fostering community initiatives has made her an invaluable asset to This Is 4 My Girlz, Inc., where she continues to inspire the next generation of leaders through her dedicated service and mentorship, proving that one person can truly make a lasting difference in their community. With a heart for service and an eye for innovation, Genesis leverages her digital media expertise to expand the organization's reach and impact. She's the driving force behind numerous successful college tours, marketing campaigns, and donor engagement strategies. Her significant contributions include coordinating donation drives, creating handmade items for care packages, and facilitating our transformative Charm School Workshops that promote personal safety awareness. Genesis is amongst the HBCU - Prairie View A&M University's Spring 2025 Graduating Class as a Bachelors of Business Administration recipient, with a minor in Digital Media Arts.

I proudly stand as the financial mentor for "This Is 4 My Girlz, Inc." I am thrilled to walk alongside our youth's journey to understanding how money works! Through our charm school workshops, we practice, implement, and discuss the proper structure of a financial house—how to build it, what goes into it, and how to set ourselves up for financial success in the future! I cannot wait to help our youth build and achieve their goals while empowering young ladies and supporting one another. We also engage in community initiatives that promote personal safety awareness, motivating and encouraging each other to ensure we're taking the necessary steps to manage our finances. Outside of the organization, I am a mother of two, the Regional Vice President of a highly ranked financial services company, a former elementary educator, and a renowned author of the children's books "Mr. Smarty Pants: Aww Nuts!" and "The Tale of Aspire," along with leading college tours for aspiring young leaders.

As This Is 4 My Girlz, Inc.'s personal safety mentor, I bring knowledge and real-life skills to empower young ladies, helping them feel strong, safe, and confident in every space they step into. I hold various certifications and state/federal licenses to teach trainings on personal safety awareness, including how to stay aware and safe, handle tough situations, and tap into the incredible power they already have within. I am excited for this opportunity to engage in charm school workshops, participate in college tours, and collaborate on community initiatives to learn and grow together with the youth of this organization. Hello beautiful people! I am honored to be working with the youth of "This Is 4 My Girlz, Inc." My goal as the "SiSTARS Circle" Program Director is to empower young ladies through our charm school workshops and engaging college tours. Together, we will celebrate one another, learn with each other, and build strong bonds and connections, all while having FUN! Additionally, our community initiatives will focus on personal safety awareness, ensuring that our young ladies feel supported and confident.

I go by the name "Ginger Gold" and have been serving the greater Alamo City for over a decade as its very own guide to gorgeous! My passion is all things BEAUTIFUL, starting with the inner-YOU! With a professional background in beauty, makeup, pageants, and fitness, I am dedicated to empowering young ladies through charm school workshops, college tours, and community initiatives. I aim to encourage, uplift, and remind our youth of the GODFIDENCE they possess within. “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”~ Song of Solomon 4:7 ~

Mrs. Andrea Shackleford is a passionate mentor and Army veteran who brings a unique blend of military leadership experience and creative expertise to youth development. Currently pursuing graduate studies in social work at UT Austin, she plans to become a licensed clinical social worker. Her diverse skill set includes professional certifications in cosmetology and combat lifesaving, along with experience mentoring young service members and volunteering with children's programs. As a practicing esthetician running a home-based salon and an accomplished musician with published work on streaming platforms, Andrea combines her creative arts expertise with formal leadership and life skills coaching abilities. Her mentoring philosophy focuses on creating safe, judgment-free spaces where young ladies can openly express themselves and explore their aspirations through personal development, community engagement, and charm school workshops. Committed to dedicating hours weekly to mentoring, Andrea empowers young ladies by instilling the value of community service through community initiatives, volunteer projects, and her 'Rhythm & Girlz' Step Team. Her goal is to make a lasting impact by building positive self-esteem and resilience in young girls while fostering a spirit of giving back to the community. Andrea also emphasizes personal safety awareness in her approach to challenges, which highlights emotional intelligence, systematic problem-solving, spiritual reflection, and the powerful impact of service to others.

With extensive experience working with juvenile cases, family dynamics, and civil/criminal court, Attorney Thomas brings deep expertise in navigating complex family situations. Her background uniquely positions her to guide families through challenging conversations and meaningful transformation, recognizing that strong families create strong young women!
