Our "BridgeLinks" Parent-Child Support Group is a comprehensive initiative designed to strengthen family bonds and heal generational wounds through targeted intervention and relationship-building. By identifying and addressing childhood experiences that impact parent-child dynamics, we create pathways for families to forge stronger connections, build lasting chains of trust, and establish unbreakable bonds that span generations.
We exist to bridge the gap between parents and children by celebrating strengths, uncovering root causes of disconnection, and providing a safe space for healing, growth, and transformation. Our program recognizes that every family brings unique gifts and challenges. We build upon existing positive dynamics while addressing areas where unresolved childhood experiences may be impacting current relationships. Through both structured support and active organizational involvement, we create opportunities for families to grow together while forging meaningful connections and strengthening the bonds that nurture all our youth. Every link matters in building the chains of support that hold our community together.
Each family begins with a thorough intake process that identifies both strengths and areas of opportunity within the child's upbringing. This assessment celebrates what's working well in the family while pinpointing where additional support may be beneficial. We use this comprehensive understanding to strategically match mentees with designated mentors and leaders within the organization, ensuring personalized guidance that builds upon existing positive dynamics while addressing specific needs.
